The Impact of Early Childhood Education on Health and Well-being
Policies for Action and the Urban Institute are co-hosting a forum on July 12 to share P4A’s latest findings on early education’s lasting impacts on health and well-being, and learn from policymakers that are designing and implementing programs at both the city and state levels.
While different combinations of educational, health, and social supports are likely to underpin high-quality early childhood education, a focus on health leads to high returns for children and their families. Featuring P4A researchers Sherry Glied of NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and Jorge Luis Garcia of the University of Chicago.
