Today, Policies for Action opened its 2017 call for proposals, which will award $2 million to research projects that explore the impact of policy on population health, well-being, and equity. The award includes $500,000 dedicated to research that explores the implementation and/or impact of actionable policies relevant to early childhood or the school environment (prekindergarten through 12th grade) that support children’s healthy weight or reduce childhood obesity.

Brief proposals will be accepted through Friday, March 10, 2017. An informational webinar for potential applicants will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET. Register here.
