Amanda Gold is a research associate in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. Her research interests include affordable housing and community and economic development.

Before joining Urban, Gold interned with the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution, New York City’s Department of City Planning, the Center for an Urban Future, and the National Housing Conference.

Gold holds a BA from Kenyon College and an MPP from Georgetown University.
