Claire Margerison
Claire Margerison, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Michigan State University. Dr. Margerison's research examines the social, economic and policy determinants of women’s health across the life-course, with an emphasis on reducing racial and socioeconomic inequities in women’s health. She is the PI of “Policy Change and Women’s Health” (R01HD095951, Administrative Supplement R01HD095951-0251), which examines the impact of Medicaid eligibility changes on preconception health, pregnancy health, pregnancy outcomes and pregnancy-associated mortality and of “Pregnancy-associated mortality and morbidity due to drugs, self-harm, and violence in the United States” (R01HD102319).
