Nan Wu
Nan Wu is the Research Director at the American Immigration Council, where she focuses on studying the impact of immigration and issues of economic and social inclusion. She leads the development of the Cities Index, the first comprehensive tool to assess the level of immigrant integration in the 100 largest U.S. cities. She has co-authored book chapters in “Integration and Receptivity in Immigrant Gateway Metro Regions in the United States” and “Immigration: Key to the Future - The Benefits of Resettlement to Upstate New York.” Previously, Nan managed the production of research content at New American Economy, a bipartisan organization dedicated to creating smart, sensible immigration policies in cities, states, and nationally. Prior to that, she worked as a multimedia editor at The Wall Street Journal. Nan holds a Master in Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Renmin University of China.
